Why men are not told these facts before growing a "movember" mustache?

On the month of November many ladies tolerate the moustaches of their significant other because it is for a worthwhile cause; nevertheless most of them will be waiting for you at 6:00 a.m. in the morning on December the 1 to shave all those facial hairs.

Let's be honest t — there aren’t too many guys who look great with a mustache most of them look like an old 70 porn movie stars or like Chewbacca.

Marie Renau, a graphic designer in Quebec City, said she can't stand her boyfriend's Movember moustache.

"It just looks like dirt on his face, I don’t like it at all even I support the cause" the 23-year-old said.

According to a new survey by the adult website www.Livefreefun.com, the majority of single Canadian ladies -- 62% -- prefer their men clean-shaven, followed by 16% who like their guys with a little “something over their lips”

Just 8% of women love thick mustaches.

An even bigger no-no – according to an poll among the female employees of www.Slutroulette.com  – are crumb-catching beards, hairy shoulders and gorilla backs.

Ann Bonici, a 21-year-old editor in Quebec, said she's thankful her boyfriend has a very hairy body, but he agrees to shave the excessive hair just for her.

“I think it’s not sexy at all. Face hair, chest hair. It all has to go," Bonici said. She said she makes her beau shave his face at least three times a week.

Her hair hatred isn't just aesthetic.

"It tickles me a lot and sometimes even I get a burn sensation on my face. Definitely not the best sensation" she said of her guy's facial hair when they lock lips after a lull in shaving.

Julie Fortran, a relationship expert from Montreal, said she’s counseled women who’ve had issues with the man’s wayward facial hair.

“In some extreme cases, it will affect intimacy. She can even allow the sex life to drop off,” Fortran said.

This disdain for man fur isn’t just a Canadian thing 350 Turkish and Slovak women found that 80%, liked clean-shaven chests the best. Researchers showed photos of men with hairy chests and photos of the same guys with shaved  to see if females tend to choose smooth men over the hairy ones.

At the beginning researches thought that it was a relationship between the lack of hair and the perception of cleanliness, but that was discarded when a  team from Trnava University in Slovakia asked women why they preferred the bare looking men and they explained that it is related with a sense of trust more than cleanliness.

Many other women have expressed that moustaches and hairy chests are reminders of their dads — and you can understand why that can be a huge buzz killer.

Nevertheless another theory explains that the like or dislike of hairy men can be a cultural thing, for example ladies in Cameroon prefer dudes with hairy chests, so hold on the Gillete right there at least until December, you may realize that you start enjoying those little whiskers
